About Us
Yuksom Breweries Ltd. was established in 1987 in South Sikkim by Tsering Phintso, a.k.a. Bollywood actor Danny Denzongpa, who named the company after his dear hometown in the western district of Sikkim. The Denzong Breweries Pvt. Ltd. greenfield project was then set up in Odisha in 2005 and subsequently, Rhino Agencies Ltd. was acquired in Assam in 2009. Together, the three breweries have a production capacity of over 680,000 HL per annum.

Brewing Capacity: 300,000 HL/annum
The first of our three brewing units, YBL was established in 1987 in the foothills of the erstwhile Himalayan kingdom of Sikkim . Situated on the banks of the river Teesta that originates from sacred Tso Lhamo, one of the highest lakes in the world at an altitude of 5,330m (17,490 ft).
Blessed with this fantastic location, the brewery uses purified Himalayan spring water replete with natural minerals and a clean taste, that helps give our beer the distinctive and unique flavour so cherished by our discerning clientele for well over three decades and counting.
